In recognition of the need to provide a dedicated resource to our growing photographic and multimedia customer base, we have recruited James McGowan as Multimedia and Stills Co-ordinator. James joins us having spent the last 12 months as a construction project manager in Kabul, Afghanistan. In his spare time though, he is studying for his Diploma in Photography at the Institute of Photography.

SPACE-2 Experience is the latest service from SPACE-2 Consulting that aims to support commercially viable and funded arts and culture projects by providing access to a range of unconventional locations for activities such as theatre performances, rehearsals, art fairs and graduate shows. We can also provide the full range of support services such as an onsite co-ordination to assist in running the activities on the day, catering, AV, brochure design, lighting, installation and full event management/registration services on request.
The photo gallery requires at least Flash version 9.0.28.

We work with a number of property owners to enable artists, directors, curators, galleries and arts-related organisations to use a range of vacant commercial property ranging from Victorian
warehouses to galleries to shop units. By way of example, we have recently provided venues for:
Zoo Art Fair 2009 - showcasing the best young international and British galleries.
“Babylon Academy” – a contemporary urban art show, which used the Power Station Gallery on the South Bank next to the Tate Modern.
Faile Show, (pictured above in preparation) a showcase of urban art and graffiti, at the Old Lilian Baylis School in Lambeth.
Stravaganza – Kingston University Graduate Show at the Nicholls & Clarke Building.
“Nuclear: Art & Radioactivity” an Art Exhibition produced by Arts Catalyst which explored nuclear power as both the
failed utopian promise of modernism and a fresh hope of a carbon-free future.
Our approach enables property owners to generate additional income whilst supporting the creative industries and increasing exposure of their facilities by hiring their spaces out to a wider customer
base.
If you are a gallery looking to do more offsite projects, a graduate co-ordinating a graduate show, an artist or a freelance curator looking for a space to put on a exhibition or are interested in
having work displayed in a corporate environment, please drop us an email outlining the project and the type of space you require and we will be happy to discuss it further with you.
