March 2010 - New venture launched
We are delighted to announce the launch of our latest venture, Veracity Arts, an art representation and curation service headed up by Dr Vera Dearman. Focusing on representing artists in London and Moscow with promotion between the two centres as well as across Europe, Veracity Arts provides a range of curation services to enable artists, galleries, independent curators and corporate buyers to source and exhibit art.
BIRMINGLAM is SPACE-2's initiative to give access to media and event producers to some of Birmingham's finest landmarks, properties and sites from stunning modern office buildings and penthouse
apartments to industrial heritage sites and urban cityscapes.
Why BIRMINGHAM?
Its a valid question for those who have not visited in years or who are not aware of the exceptional talent in the region.
Birmingham has failed to attract larger TV and film projects in part due to the lack of a studio complex which enables production companies to build sets and base their projects in the City. However,
working with local property companies, SPACE-2 has identified industrial properties which can provide in-bound productions with the space and facilities required for longer duration projects.
Furthermore, with the recent funding initiative being provided by Screen WM, the city's appeal is growing as a destination for location filming and photography and related media events.
